'BJP conspiracy to defame Bengal': Abhishek Banerjee on Sandeshkhali row
Morbi city police in Gujarat have initiated legal proceedings against a businesswoman, Vibhuti Patel, and six others for allegedly assaulting Nilesh Dalsaniya, a 21-year-old Dalit man, over a salary dispute. Dalsaniya, employed by Patel's company for a fortnight, faced physical assault and was coerced into holding his employer's footwear in his mouth as an apology for demanding his salary. The incident transpired on Wednesday, prompting Dalsaniya to file a complaint with the police. The accused, including Patel's brother and manager, allegedly subjected Dalsaniya to physical violence, threatened him, and forced him to record a video admitting to false allegations.
